Andrea Brown conducts The Fourth Choir in the evening concert of the Antwerp Queer Arts Festival. The Dark Lady & The Tender Churl celebrates William Shakespeare on the 400th anniversary of his death. Featuring music including Vaughan-Williams, Lindberg, Byrd and Mäntyjärvi the programme also includes recent commissions all set to Shakespeare’s text. The concert will take place in the beautiful chapel of a former monastery in the centre of Antwerp.
Andrea recently conducted The Fourth Choir at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. As part of the Amasing Choral Festival, the choir performed to great acclaim, garnering a standing ovation in the sold out concert-hall.
Andrea Brown recently conducted The Festival Chorus in their Summer Concert at St Luke’s Church, Battersea as part of the St Luke’s Music Society. The programme comprised The Passing of the Year (Jonathan Dove) and Carmina Burana (Orff). Joined by a cast of superb soloists – Alex Ashworth, Elizabeth Cragg and Matthew Venner – Andrea conducted the Sinclair Sinfonia featuring Elspeth Wyllie and William Vann to great acclaim
Andrea was the UK judge for the international choral competition The Festival of Songs based in Olomouc, Czech Republic with a range of choirs from the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, and Hungary.

Andrea Brown conducts Tippett Voices in a choral concert of works by composers affected by the First World War. Music includes pieces by Elgar, Ravel, Berg, Vaughan-Williams and W. Denis Browne. Tippett Voices are a newly-formed professional chamber choir committed to promoting diversity within programming and performance.
